I'm lucky to be an Art Director. My career has been predominately at two major agencies. I started as a Junior Art Director at Leo Burnett and then, years later, landed a job at what was then Needham, Harper & Steers. I lived through all of the name changes and finally we were DDB.
Creating something out of nothing, and seeing it through to the end, whether it's film, print or social media has always been a thrill. And when it's been successful for the client, even better. Isn't that the point?
It's also given me adventures that I would not have experienced otherwise. I've shot film on mountain tops, worked in Taiwan, met many famous athletes and talented people in the business. And I still get excited over the next, new challenge to solve. So, yes, it's great to be in a creative field. You never know what will be next.
